1. Send a request
Use the form below with “Delete my data”, or email [email protected] with the subject “Stepinway Social data deletion”. Include the email associated with your account, the relevant Instagram username or page, and whether you want a specific item, connected-page data or your whole account removed. If you are a person who sent a message or comment, identify the business page and the information concerned. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
2. Verify the scope
An administrator reviews the request and may contact you to verify ownership or clarify which records are yours. The reference shown after submission confirms receipt only. Requests do not automatically delete data and do not permit someone else to delete your account without verification.
3. Review and removal
After verification, we assess and remove the applicable records under our control, such as connection credentials, imported messages or comments, page analytics, drafts and account details, according to the request. We handle requests without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. If a legal obligation or security need prevents removal of particular records, we will explain the limitation where allowed. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup lifecycle completes.
Disconnecting Instagram
You can also revoke the app’s access through the connected account’s Meta or Instagram app/website permission settings. The exact menu may vary. Revoking permission stops future authorised API access, but does not by itself erase information already held by this service; submit a deletion request as well.
What this does not delete
Removing data from Stepinway Social does not delete your Instagram account, published posts on Instagram, messages held by Meta or copies independently held by the business that owns a connected page. Manage those with the relevant provider or business.
